Hell Breaks Loose in 1V-LI2 (Scalding Pass)
The major powers in eve have called to war! A relatively small coalition of alliances took on a major Eastern power block Solar Fleet. I say eastern because Solar Fleet resides on the eastern part of New Eden.The Gypsy Caravan coalition made up of Gypsy Band, Red Alliance, WhysoSerious, Darkside, and The unthinkables formed to install Red alliance to its ancestral home in insmother. Solar fleet up until this point was giving heavy resistance but the battle for 1V-LI2 was supposed to be where the invaders progress stopped. Solar Fleet was pulling all the stops out on the Gypsy Caravan, Deploying 58 super carrier class vessels, 20+ carrier class vessels, and over 200+ support fleet.
The outcome for the smaller coalition looked nearly impossible but help came from and unlikely set of allies. Enter the Dotbros!
Norther CoalitionDOT, Black LegionDOT, Nulli SecundaDOT, had set out to help the Gypsy Caravan Fielding 30+ titans to the field. For those of you who don't know titans v. super carrers+carriers is a very ruff ordeal. Pandemic Legion a member of the Honey Badger Coalition had scoped out the ensuing battle and decided to form a response fleet to aid the Gypsy Caravan. The stage was set, the players were ready.
Solar Fleet was guarding the strategic objective of the player owned station that resided in 1V-LI2. This Station was heavily sieged days before. If Solar succeed in the battle the kept there 40+ billion isk Station. If The Gypsy Caravan Succeed it would provide huge momentum and logistical ease for the rest of the war. Solar was on the undock of the station and was undeterred by the initial fleet that confronted them. cyno fields when up and the titan fleet was hotdropped in to the battle, along with the rest of the capital fleet from the dotbros and gypsy caravan. The battle at that point was up to 500+ total participants. Titans were scoring good hits on carriers annihilating everything that stood in there way. Solar Fleet was holding there own in the sub-capital department taring through fleet formation with there carriers.
The response fleet from pandemic legion had arrived and tipped the battle to a one sided affair. Solar started to take heavy losses and momentum had fully sifted to the Gypsy Caravan Side. Now with over 900+ participants solar had no chance of victory super carriers were dying, capitals were exploding, it was all out carnage! The defenders were driven off and the station was captured. This war had made a super power think twice before it bares its teeth!
The repercussions of this battle will have a long standing effect on the Eastern Drone Regions. New Power Bloc's are forming around a once great Red alliance who seek revenge on Solar Fleet and their allies. While Pandemic Legion and TEST Alliance see how far the HBC's neutrality goes with Solar fleet and Possibly a long time ally. The CFC the host coalition of Goonswarm (who is the residing governing body of the CFC) is currently involved in a war with the DOTBROS. With HBC involvement this battle things will get very interesting. I don't have a crystal ball and I can't say what implementations this brings. But i will say Solar has a target right between there eyes. And its just a matter of time before they get pushed out of the region.
